Our Sales Manager Hiring Process Overview
Getting hired is more than hitting the “Apply” button, which is why our Sales Recruiting team has put together resources to help you prepare for the interview process – from submitting an application to receiving an offer, and every step in between.
Step 1:
Connect with a Recruiter
We’ll have a 30-minute recruiter phone screen as an opportunity for both you and Yelp to explore whether the Sales Manager role is truly the right fit.
Step 2:
Meet a Sales Director
The next step is a 1-hour video interview with a Sales Director. You will dive into your sales leadership experience, people management skills, and alignment with Yelp’s values. The format will include a 10-minute candidate presentation, plus behavioral and situational questions and a roleplay that mirrors challenges you might face as a Sales Manager.
Step 3:
Meet a Leadership Training Specialist
The final step is a 1-hour video call with a Leadership Training Specialist. You’ll dive deeper into your ability to lead high-performing sales teams and embody the leadership qualities we value.
